Hosted by IUPUI University College and supported by Lumina Foundation for Education.
University Place Conference Center, 850 W. Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202

Statewide conference where Indiana’s campuses work in collaboration to meet Indiana’s goals for higher education. The keynote speaker is Paul Gaston, author of The Challenge of Bologna: What United States Higher Education Has to Learn from Europe, and Why It Matters That We Learn It.

—Understand why urban and rural students face similar issues but for different reasons
—Experience a redefined entry program for students that leads up to a new student orientation center
—Explore the underlying principles of the Teaching for Educational Equity (TFEE) in which students use their culture as a support to educational success
—Utilizing the Guardian Scholars Program model, understand the multiple supports needed to enhance the success of foster care youth
—Hear about a unique partnership between campus and a magnet high school that incorporated an early college model of academic rigor with a medical theme
—Access a variety of quick and easy teaching tools that can be implemented across a variety of disciplines
—What math preparation needs to take place for the success of the student
