College and Career Support for Undocumented, Foster, and Homeless Youth Webinar
In this College, Career, and Counseling Webinar, our panelists will share insights on working with young people transitioning from homelessness and out of foster care to maximize their career opportunities and successes. We will also look at the challenges that our undocumented students face ranging from legal status issues, safety concerns, and financial burdens.
Panelists will share important considerations and strategies for working with these special populations. Attendees will learn how to transition youths to areas of the workforce that interest and inspire them. They will examine and identify resources for supporting their youths’ college dreams. Attendees will also learn best practices for supporting, and advocating for their youths as valuable young professionals.
