Heather Good
Senior Communications Manager

Heather Good is a Senior Communications Manager with the Indiana Youth Institute. She joined the communications team in January 2025.
Good spent a decade in broadcast television serving communities in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky as a news anchor, assignments manager, producer, and multimedia journalist. She uses her journalism experience to create content and tell IYI stories.
Heather has been a board member of the Indiana Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists since 2016. As a student, she founded the University of Indianapolis SPJ Chapter in 2012 and served as President.
She is a graduate of the UIndy TV program. Her interest in news began at Goshen High School where she was a part of the GTV multimedia class.
Heather is happily married to former meteorologist Brady Harp. The couple enjoy spending time with their dog and cats and remain in Terre Haute, Indiana where they previously worked together.
