BECOME A CONSULTANT

As representatives of IYI, consultants are responsible for working with Consulting Project Managers to: 

  • Execute project activities and deliverables in alignment with the scope of work 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IYI consulting clients 
  • Complete invoices and supporting documentation to uphold collaborative and transparent partnership with IYI 
  • Provide thought-partnership and resources related to the clients’ capacity-building needs and consistent with best practices 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Credentials, Certifications, or other training in the consulting area of expertise (e.g. board development, fundraising, strategic planning, etc.) 
  • Consulting experience with youth-serving nonprofits or schools 
  • Work experience in (or related to) the youth services field 
  • Strongly preferred: Master’s Degree or Doctorate in a related field (e.g. education, human resources, nonprofit management, communication, organizational leadership, or social sciences) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Word, Excel, & PowerPoint; SharePoint access preferred) 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work alongside IYI and support youth-serving professionals effectively 
  • Adaptability and learning mindset to adjust to the evolving, complex needs of clients and the youth services field
