Kori Jones serves as the Chief Operating Officer at the Indiana Youth Institute, where she leads the organization’s operational strategy and oversees the alignment of internal systems to maximize mission impact. In this role, Kori is responsible for strengthening IYI’s infrastructure, optimizing service delivery, and fostering operational excellence across all divisions.
Since joining IYI in 2018, Kori has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to Indiana’s youth-serving professionals. Previously serving as Vice President of Professional Education, she designed and executed statewide and national programming that empowered youth workers and elevated outcomes for children across Indiana. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing IYI’s role as a trusted partner and resource hub for the field.
Kori brings more than two decades of experience in education and nonprofit leadership. She completed the Curriculum and Instruction Ph.D. coursework at Indiana State University and holds a Master of Education in secondary education from Indiana Wesleyan University as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English language and literature from Indiana University.
Kori approaches her work with a strategic mindset and a collaborative spirit, always seeking opportunities to improve systems, build capacity, and support teams. Guided by the mantra “work hard, play hard,” she balances her professional passion with a personal love for global travel and cultural exploration. Her dynamic leadership continues to shape a stronger, more effective IYI—and a brighter future for Hoosier youth.
