Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging trainings include the following:
- Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth – Training covers basic knowledge to be a supportive adult in the life of a Queer young person; discussion includes terminology, gender, and practical steps to be affirming and supportive.
- Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth: A Deeper Dive – Training covers more thorough list of terms, as well as real-life scenarios.
- LGBTQ+ Policies – Learn why inclusive policies are important and how to create them.
- Workplace Inclusion: Conscious and Unconscious Biases – Everyone has implicit biases. This training breaks down the common ones and talks through how to dismantle them to make a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
- The Power of Youth Voice – Young people are the experts in their own lives and should be allow given the space to share. This training helps youth workers cultivate and utilize ALL youth voices in their programs.
- LGBTQ+ History – This training walks through modern LGBTQ+ history, because once we know where the Queer community has been we can see where they are going.
- Anti-Racism – This training is designed by and for white people because it is not the responsibility of people of color to do the hard work for us.
Trauma-informed workplaces training includes the following:
- Healing-Centered Care and Positive Youth Development – This training discusses how to use healing-centered, trauma-informed care in your programs, how trauma can disrupt positive youth development, and what you can do to support those young people.
