IYI’s College & Career Readiness Initiative is offering capacity-building grants to help Indiana youth-serving nonprofits grow and strengthen their college and career readiness programs.
College & career readiness prepares young people of all ages and settings to thrive beyond high school. It goes
beyond academics to include career exploration, social-emotional growth, essential skills like communication,
collaboration, adaptability, and problem-solving, as well as access to supportive networks and resources. This
grant opportunity is open to programs serving youth ages 5-24. Three (3) organizations statewide will receive
services valued at more than $6,000 per organization to fulfill their efforts to support college & career readiness
for the youth they serve through:
- Forty (40) hours of thought partnership with a consultant from IYI’s pool to develop or expand college &
career-focused work or programming. Possible service areas include:

- Needs Assessment

- Board Development

- Sustainability Planning

- Evaluation

- School & Community Impact

Eligibility Requirements
- Projects must support work related to college & career initiatives and programs for youth.
- Grantees must be an Indiana-based 501(c)(3) youth-serving nonprofit organization. Programs serving youth ages
5-24 are welcome to apply.
- Three (3) grants will be awarded.
